*Fire agencies have issues with abandoned campfires. MCFPA urges* all who start a campfire to use extreme caution and do not leave unattended at any time. When you are finished with the campfire, use water to douse flames, stir the ashes, feel for hot spots, use more water (or sand) and stirring until it's DEAD OUT and cold to the touch.
